How to Sell On Buy Sell Swop Donate
Buy Sell Swop Donate (BSSD) is a market place where
you can sell your products directly to buyers/consumers. Our marketplace is
built on trust and transparency. We are committed to ensure that you and your
buyers have a positive experience. Outlined hereunder are your rights as well
as what is expected of you as a seller. The policy is part of our Terms of Use.
By selling your products on Buy Sell Swop Donate, you are agreeing to this
policy and our Terms of Use.
Buyers come here to purchase items that are
of excellent quality yet cheaper than what
they would normally find elsewhere.
If you are a seller, you agree that:
1. You need to
register online to sell your goods on www.buysellswopdonate.co.za.
2. Every pictured
product listed on Buy Sell Swop Donate accurately resembles the product that
the buyer will receive. Fake items are not allowed to be sold.
3. You are using
your own and unedited photographs (listings
must be of the item itself) - not stock photos, artistic renderings or photos
used by other sellers or sites.
4. When you send
photos to BSSD you confirm that you have all the necessary rights to those
photos.
5. BSSD may edit
photos of animate life form to conceal facial features and certain body parts.
6. All listing are
available for purchase at a set price.
7. Listings that do
not make sales for 3 consecutive months will be removed by BSSD with prior
notice and at no extra cost to you.
2. What Can’t be Sold on Buy Sell Swop Donate
For a variety of reasons, we prohibit the sale of
certain types of items on the BSSD platform. Some items present legal risks to
BSSD; others are unsafe or harmful to our community of buyers and sellers, or
inconsistent with our values.
The following types of items are not for trade on
BSSD:
1. Alcohol, tobacco
and related products, drugs, drug Paraphernalia, and medical drugs
2. Certain herbal
substances, including substances used for recreational and medical purposes,
regardless of their legality
3. Regulated medical
devices and pharmaceuticals
4. Animal products and
human remains
5. Dangerous items: hazardous
materials, recalled items, and weapons
6. Hate items: Items
that promote, support or glorify hatred
7. Illegal items,
items promoting illegal activity
8. Pornography and
mature content
9. Violent items:
Items that promote, support, or glorify violence
10. Artificial hair,
nails and all body related artificial cosmetic Items
11. Automobile: Four
wheel, two wheel and all other forms of transportation.
3. Integrity and Transparency
By selling on BSSD, you agree that you will:
1. Provide honest and
accurate information about your business to BSSD
2. Honour the BSSD
policies
3. Accurately present
your items in the photos you provide to BSSD
4. Respect the
intellectual property of others
5. Not engage in fee
avoidance
6. Not coordinate
pricing with other sellers
7. Communicate in a
timely manner with BSSD about unavailable products

Provide Great Customer Service
BSSD is committed to provide a high level of
customer service, by selling on BSSD you agree to:
1. Honour our Dispatch
and Processing Times. The processing time is how much time is needed to get an
order ready to dispatch. BSSD operates on a 3 day processing time.
2. Ensure that
products are available and ready for dispatch the next day after a buyer has
concluded an order.
3. Respond to messages
in a timely manner.
In the event of the product being unavailable, you
must notify BSSD via prompt message and cancel the transaction.
5. Cancellations
1. In the event of the
product being out of stock (after the buyer has already ordered and you have
failed to inform BSSD of its unavailability), you must notify BSSD via message
and cancel the transaction.
2. You will pay a
cancellation fee to cancel a buyer’s order of an item which is unavailable/out
of stock.

Not as Described
An item is not
as described if the buyer can demonstrate that it is significantly
different from the listing description or your photos. The following are
examples of not as described cases:
1. The item received
is a different colour, model, version, or size.
2. The item has a
different design or material.
3. The seller failed
to disclose that an item is damaged or missing parts.
4. The buyer received
the incorrect quantity of items (.e.g., the buyer purchased two items but only
received one).
5. The item was
advertised as authentic but is not authentic.
6. The condition of
the item is misrepresented (e.g., the item is described as new but is used).
7. Paying your BSSD Fees
BSSD will deduct all fees owed to it by you. Your
account statement will be made available in the first week at the beginning of
each month, and will detail all sales and fees activity of the previous month.
If you become a Seller on BSSD you agree to pay the
fees listed below. All fees are inclusive of value-added tax (VAT).
1. A monthly account
service fee which is payable when you join BSSD.
2. We understand that
you may occasionally need to make some changes to your listings. You will pay a
modification fee when you need to modify or remove a listing.
3. In the event of an item being unavailable at the time of processing your buyers order you will pay a cancellation fee to cancel the order.
